INTRODUCTION TO UKULELE 101-A

This introductory class is for the newbie ukulele enthusiast. All the mysteries of the 'ukulele Universe will be revealed in this 6-week intensive course! Well, not exactly, but our goal is to cover the basics and leave you with a strong musical foundation from which to build your ukulele skills. You can expect to master at least a dozen of the most useful chord forms, some basic strumming and picking techniques, and a repertoire of tunes to keep you, your friends, and family entertained for years to come.

 

FINGER PICKING & STRUMMING FOR 'UKULELE

Geared to the beginning to intermediate student, this class will cover a variety of picking and strumming patterns to get you started playing your favorite tunes with panache! You’ll learn about time signatures and how to read, write and, most importantly, play rhythm patterns to accompany songs from swing to reggae, folk to pop…and more!
